Privacy & Confidentiality Policy
The Resilient Conversations is committed to providing a respectful, private, and judgment-free environment where individuals and families can openly discuss personal experiences and challenges.
Respectful Conversations: Information shared during appointments will be treated with care and discretion.
Personal Information: Contact information and booking details will be used for scheduling, appointment confirmations, service communications, and administrative purposes.
Confidentiality: Ebony will not intentionally share the personal details of a participant's conversation with outside parties without permission, except where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
Recording Policy: Audio, video, screenshots, or other recordings of appointments are prohibited unless all participants have provided prior written consent.
Third-Party Participation: Participants must understand that when co-parents or family members attend the same session, information shared during that conversation is heard by everyone present. Individual privacy cannot be guaranteed between participants.
Children's Privacy: Additional care will be taken when children participate. Appropriate parental or guardian consent must be obtained, and children's personal information will be handled with particular care.
Important: The Resilient Conversations is not a licensed therapy, counseling, or legal service. Confidentiality protections and professional privileges associated with those services do not automatically apply. Information may need to be disclosed when legally required or when necessary to address certain safety concerns.
Co-Parenting & Family Participation Policy
Because some conversations involve multiple family members, all participants are expected to maintain a respectful environment.
Participation by both co-parents is voluntary.
No individual will be required to participate against their wishes.
Participants must refrain from threats, intimidation, harassment, personal attacks, or disruptive behavior.
Children must not be placed in the middle of parental disagreements or expected to take sides.
Ebony reserves the right to pause or end a conversation if the environment becomes hostile, unsafe, or inappropriate.
Participants should not use these sessions to obtain information about another participant or pressure someone into an agreement.
For children and minors: A parent or legally authorized guardian must provide appropriate consent before a minor participates. The child's age, maturity, comfort, and best interests will be considered. Separate arrangements may be required when parents disagree about participation or when a custody order limits who may authorize it.
